Hi all...,

We have mainly three types of Data type Conversions in C#

They are
Implicit Conversions
Explicit Conversions &
Conversions with Helper classes

Implicit conversions can b done directly with out any conversion type. Compiler will take care about it.
Example:

int a=10; long b;

b=a;

Here it is called as Implicit Conversion. The data in 'a' as a int will convert in to long and will store in 'b'.

Explicit Conversions
In Explicit Conversions we need to define the data type to which it has to convert.
Example:
int a=10; long b=(long)a;

Conversions with Helper classes:
We have some Pre Defined Conversion classes are their. We will use these classes to convert from one data type to another data type.
Parse
Convert

Boxing is nothing but ..............Value type Data to Reference type.
UnBoxing is nothing but............ Reference type Data to Value Type.
